2018 Whitegold Festival of Clay
The 2018 Whitegold Festival was part of a sustainable increase in activity, diversity of practitioners & art forms and engagement by stakeholders. The project has demonstrated the viability and need for cultural activity and developing a sense of place in the area contributing to a major, £1.3 million, investment in clay culture and horticulture over the next 2 years.
2017 Whitegold Festival of Clay
The 2017 Whitegold Festival built in more participatory activity in the lead up to the event, increased the diversity of artists involved, added to the content available to the public on the day and spread over a larger area of the town centre.
2016 Whitegold Festival of Clay
The first ever Whitegold Festival was a pop up to test the waters. We were pleased that hundreds of people visiting the event, getting their hands messy and learning more about the heritage and future of clay in St Austell.
