Whitegold Festival

How do I find Whitegold Festival and St Austell?

Whitegold Festival of Clay takes part right in the centre of St Austell. Our pop-up festival hub can be found in a glass fronted shop unit within the White River Place shopping centre complex, next to New Look. The postcode is PL25 5AZ.

By rail: St Austell is on the mainline between Plymouth and Truro. The town centre is a short 5-minute walk from the railway station and is well signposted.

By bus:  The closest bus station is on either side of the road at the White River Cinema, served by the following buses:  21, 22, 25 27, 188, 216, 217, 223, 293.  Please check up to date bus timetables before travelling.

By car: From outside of Cornwall

From Exeter either the A30 via Launceston or A38 via Plymouth. From Exeter, the A30 will shortly be dual carriageway to the centre of Cornwall. Turn off the A30, either at Bodmin (A38 / B3268/9) to reach Lostwithiel and Fowey, or take the A391 to St Austell, Mevagissey and the Roseland Peninsula.

Alternatively, take the A38 and cross into Cornwall over the Tamar Bridge from Plymouth. Turn left at Dobwalls onto the A390 and continue to St Austell as above.

Parking:  The festival is easily accessed from the Priory car park (PL25 5AB) or White River Place multi-storey car park (Trinity Road, PL25 5AZ). Parking charges apply.
