Brickfield at Whitegold Festival Brickmaking and Kiln Firing Workshops

Words by Katie Bunnell

Come and join us to make some bricks while we are firing the Brickfield kiln for the Whitegold Festival. The firing will take around 72 hours and we’re inviting people to join us on site to make some bricks while we tend the kiln.

For the evening event on Sat 19th September we’re aiming for flames reaching out of the kiln chimney, some convivial kiln-side story telling, plus some general chatter and mucking about.

Friday 18 September – 2 workshops: 10.00am – 12.30pm, 1.30pm – 4.00pm
Saturday 19 September – 3 workshops: 10.00am – 12.30pm, 1.30pm – 4.00pm, 5.00pm – 7.30pm
