The 2020 Whitegold Festival takes place in St Austell town centre on September 19. The Festival celebrates all-things clay, and in particular cultures of clay and those who use it in their creative work.
We’re looking for high quality craftspeople and craft sellers who would like a free stall at the upcoming Festival. We’re looking in particular for artists whose work has a connection to clay, to kaolin, or to clay country – interpreting this in the broadest sense possible whilst retaining a genuine link to the culture of clay and clay country in Cornwall. We are also looking for people who would be interested in giving a demonstration of their craft-making during the day’s events.
If you would like to be considered for a stall and demonstration please apply online here. We will continue to accept applications until midnight on July 19th but will close the form once all stall positions are full.
You will need to provide evidence of public liability insurance, and if you have your own table and/or gazebo this would be very helpful – if you are particular about having a specific gazebo, or in a specific colour, we recommend that you make arrangements to bring your own. Please note that none of the pitches have power, but that it is possible to accommodate your own generator if you are able to bring one.
Deadline for applications: midnight on July 19 OR until all stalls are taken.
Festival Day is Saturday September 19. Load-in will be before 08.30, load out after 16.30
