A live virtual event

Window into Whitegold: Going virtual
After careful consideration the difficult decision has been made that the Garden Festival and the Whitegold Festival of Clay have been postponed until 2021. However, all is not lost as we are launching an exciting virtual exhibition online to showcase the Garden Route projects, Whitegold public art commissions and work from the International Ceramics Prize winners – making a vast selection accessible from home.
Public Art Unveilings…
It has been an exciting year for creation of new public art works made for and with the people of St Austell. Expect a lively programme of unveilings, events and happenings to take place throughout Festival day. More details will be shared soon!
Interactive, digital, live…
We had some great interactive live events coming into St Austell to share with visitors on festival day. Watch this space for news as we adapt those plans for an interactive online experience…
Calling all local astronauts…
Artist Georgia Gendall is making a radio show about St Austell Bay and the Clay Country for Whitegold and would like to interview the people who use the landscape, and particularly people who notice the skies above it. The programme will be aired in September as part of our Whitegold celebration this year. If you are interested and would like to have a chat, please email Georgia Gendall email@example.com
Things to see in St Austell
Winners of the 2019 Whitegold International Ceramic Prize are currently working on new artworks that we hope will be on show in central St Austell to coincide with the 'Window into Whitegold' virtual event.
