2020 Hands on Workshops

Come and have a go and play with clay at this year’s festival! All workshops are free and open to all. Bring out your inner potter and have a go at throwing a pot on a wheel, adding your own hand built model to a large festival display or try out different decorating techniques. Full workshops will be published soon.

Whitegold Festival

2020 Live music and performance programme

Whitegold Festival's live programme of dance, theatre and music will draw back to a connection with clay heritage and culture, whilst creating a vibrant atmosphere in town. Most performances will be open air and some found in unexpected and unusual places.

Whitegold Festival

2020 Ceramic Craft Fair

Applications are now open for local potters and clay-artists to join us at the Whitegold Festival to show and sell their work.

We look particularly for artists whose work has a connection to clay, to kaolin, or to clay country.  Stall holders are encouraged to sell pieces across a broad price spectrum, so to encourage someone’s very first purchase of an original piece of ceramic art.
