Free Interactive Workshop: during this year’s festival on September 30, Jenny Beavan  will be creating a china clay ‘whitegold’ landscape. Jenny is one of our resident artists specialising in china clay, and lives near St Austell.

Jenny invites you to add to this ever-changing landscape by making ‘Treasure Bowls’ using local ‘treasured’ china clay materials and beautiful porcelain.  The ‘Treasure Bowls’ will start that long journey that china clay takes from the bowels of the pit to port, and far off shore where last year’s ‘Cups and Saucers’ can be found.

Here are some of the things made during last year’s festival at Jenny’s workshop, some of which will become part of this year’s creation.
